Aha .. kept coming across these surreal posts - now I know what its all about - I love this take on litter.
I cant stand the filthy stuff - my response to the deluge is to boycot plastic disposable products and source biodegradable alternatives. That way if my rubbish ends up litter - and it can happen - it wont be around for millenia - www.plasticisrubbish.wordpress.com

"no mention of having to stretch the trip out over 20 years."
!! LOL

Adding to your citings , for anyone might not have noticed: the king size plastic cup that you get at Burger King restaurants have a generic whip and all the paper cups , which are disposable, have his authentic whip.

! The plotholes !

, in Indy's film , Raiders , after the rolling boulder nearly pancaked Indy, his whip was taken from him by the natives. And he somehow had it later in the movie ... ? Perhaps he owns a few of these whips.

In the light of morning, it is possible that J.B. Hutto's performance of "Built for Comfort" exists only in my imagination. Certainly Howlin' Wolf's version is the standard, and my most recent (verifiable) favorite is by Marva Wright.

Also, on smoking, I need to explain that I do not have an objection to people smoking as long as they don't do it near me or anyone else, have no family obligations, are not insured by my health insurance provider, are pretty sure that they weren't going to contribute to the common good, and promise not to sue the tobacco company after 25 years of ignoring printed warnings, their doctors' advice, their families' pleading and the coughing feedback of their own bodies. It's a personal choice, and as long as one is accountable, I'm fine with it.

Sounds like littering is on the rise. I hope your blog isn't encouraging litterbugs, anxious to get their trash mentioned on the Internet. Regardless, I do appreciate the pre-archeological merits and insight of your work.

We have a lucky winner! Good guy Andrew Schweitzer revealed the secret sequence that takes you to the iPod owner's name, and it's Ben Weirich who apparently hasn't mastered the zippered pocket. Next Christmas: mitten clips for everything you own. We're in the process of reuniting this item with its owner, a rare happy ending here at "Litter in Skaneateles."
